“Quite a few times, the process of learning Focusing this way has reminded me of learning to drive a car, and in my case – going from having driven on the farm for quite a while, to learning how to drive with others on the open road. In the later parts of this training, it felt as if we were being offered more responsibility both as Focusers and Companions – no longer practicing in quiet suburbia, but learning to maneuver in town, where there’s lots going on. The whole teaching and learning process has been very well considered and rehearsed and runs really smoothly.”
