TeacherFind out moreI come to Focusing from a strong Buddhist background as an ordained Zen priest with 8 years of monastic training in Japan. Focusing has given me an essential piece of the mind-body Oneness “puzzle.” After years of illuminating inner work in the Zen tradition, I was enlivened with the somatic approach of Focusing, and find this way of working with […]

Hi, I’m Shannon Crossman and I’m the Chief Operations Officer here at Focusing Resources. Building systems is my passion! If there’s a way to do it with more efficiency and ease for our staff and clients, I want to find it. Class schedules, communications and most of what you encounter in the process of enrolling and participating in our courses are my special area. So if you need help or have feedback about your experience, please feel free to be in touch with me. I love using my systems building skills to help make the profound transformation work offered by Inner Relationship Focusing more widely available.
When I’m not cooking up more efficient ways to do things, I lay out and design products like The Focusing Connection newsletter, the Getting Bigger Than What’s Bugging You e-course, and our CD courses. Outside of the office, I can be found in the North Bay enjoying nature, curled up around a good book, writing, painting and enjoying life with friends and family.
Hi, I’m Maggie Hurley. My work centers around marketing and management of our in-person retreats, and assorted technical things (like making this website). Whether I’m planning one of our Treasure Maps to the Soul retreats or helping clarify our unique approach to Focusing, I’m proud to be part of an organization centered around teaching individuals like yourself how to look within to reconnect with the inner compass so central to living a better life.
Feel free to be in touch with me if you need assistance with Treasure Maps. In my free time, I’m busy painting (my other career) or romping around with my exuberant dogs, Zoe, Mochi, and Milo.
Hi, I’m Allison Jones, Customer Happiness Manager at Focusing Resources. My role involves maximizing customer happiness, coordinating classes, managing products and orders, and scheduling one-to-one sessions with Ann. It is an honor to interact with customers who are seeking personal growth through Inner Relationship Focusing, and I am delighted to be here.
Feel free to be in touch with me if you need any assistance navigating our website, have any questions about our courses or products, or would like to schedule a session.
Outside of the office, you can find me exploring in the forest, creating collages, and producing podcasts.
