Here are some of the materials you will need for the workshop. If you would like a hard copy, please note that these will not be provided, so please bring your own.

The Schedule

You are welcome to check-in between 4:00pm – 5:00pm on November 8th. The workshop begins with after dinner that night. The retreat ends with a morning session on the 14th that concludes at 12:00pm. Lunch is available that day for those who wish to stay for it.

An outline of the daily schedule is included below (subject to revision). The final schedule will be provided on-site.

The closest airport is Philadelphia (PHL).

From the airport it’s recommended to call an Uber or Lyft to bring you the 15 minutes to Pendle Hill.

Amtrak and SEPTA trains arrive at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station.

What to Bring, Things to Know

Items to consider packing:

Sleep mask
Alarm clock (digital clocks are not provided in rooms)
Reusable water bottle or thermos
Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate gear
A flashlight to help navigate at night

Please note: Pendle Hill is a fragrance-free campus. Please refrain from using scented grooming products, room sprays, incense, and candles.

All linens and bedding are provided, as are towels. You’ll need to bring your own personal toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and face cloths. You may want to bring a robe and shower shoes for the shared bathroom spaces.

We will provide a workbook. You may want to bring a notebook, a printed copy of the downloadable handouts, and/or your Focusing journal for your own notes.

Optional/for fun: bring your iPod or iPhone with music for dance or other movement, musical instruments if easy to bring. We have an iPod/iPhone player. Wifi is available.

There is a 1-mile walking trail on campus, as well as gardens and outdoor areas for you to enjoy.

Wrapping Up and Moving Forward

Once your course is completed, you will receive an email explaining the steps to take if you would like to receive a Record of Completion/CE Credits.

A Record of Completion provides documentation of hours and learning objectives. We are a licensed provider of CE Credits for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. PCE #62524. Residents of other states/countries may present the Record of Completion to the board that governs their license for approval of CE Credits.

There is a $25 administrative fee for Records of Completion.

Eligibility for CE Credits requires 100% live attendance.
