I learned Focusing in 1972 from Eugene Gendlin, the developer of the Focusing process. Since becoming a Focusing teacher in 1984, I have traveled to twenty-one countries on five continents, teaching workshops that offer Focusing as a healing, nurturing relationship with your inner self.

I am a Coordinator for The International Focusing Institute. I have written eight books on Focusing, starting with my first, The Power of Focusing, which has been translated into eleven languages.

I am the President and CEO of Focusing Resources, and the co-creator (with Barbara McGavin) of Untangling®, a process for applying IRF to impossibly stuck areas of life.

I do one-to-one sessions, by phone or Zoom.
